Stepper Motor control using PID controller

Objective:
A closed loop control system is designed for a good precise operation performance of permanent magnet stepper motor.PID controller is used for controlling the speed of the device.
The control objective is to find the suitable control variables (ud, uq) so that the system tracks desired load angular position. Below figure shows the block diagram of closed-loop
PID control.
Inference:
Thus the position and speed of the stepper motor is controlled using PID controller, However we find some ripple in the speed plot so still fine tuninig is neccecery. For PID tunning Zeigler Nicholas second method is used.
