The proposed work was based on isolation & characterization of active components from Brasssica olearacia leaves (cauliflower). Cauliflower is rich source of minerals and anticancer principles. Next phase of work involved screening for antioxidant, and cardioprotective activity. Secondly production of glucose oxidase from microbial sources, involved optimization of carbon source, nitrogen source & various process parameters like pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen.
