Arrangement at control room side
Power distribution from electric grid to the particular distribution transformer plays a very important role for the purpose of safety of transformer and also an effective usage and utilization of the power the exhibiting method of distribution is based on manpower which has So many drawbacks. The maximum load is calculating manually sharing and shifting of transformer connections are done manually hence no accuracy and leads to overloading of transformer and chances of burning the method shown here is electronic based and no manpower is required with wireless indication to the control room is possible.
The main distribution transformer provides the voltages through the switching units In real time application the main distribution transformer is of 220kv ,110kv for practical implementation we are taking 12v transformer with 1Amps Current rating which is a step down transformer.
Switching unit is designed with electromagnetic relays for the purpose of isolation Connection between transformer and next section. A transistorized driving system is provided to every relay for its proper operation the contacts of the relays are used for Switching another pair of contacts is used for the purpose of controlling action of transmitter. All the Switching units together connected to a Common switching unit to transmitter block. The entire Switching unit is controlled with over load detection circuit.
The distribution transformers in real time applications are 11kv , 33kv ,66kv etc and for prototype implementation we are using 6v with 500 m A Current rating once again which is a kind of Step down transformer. As per the requirement each transformer ratings may be different whim are connected to different indusial and domestic load applications. We are using different lamp load and LED loads as per the design requirements all the loads gets connected with load Sensing circuit.
