Vertical farming is a greenhouse method of agriculture where commercially viable crops are cultivated inside multi-storey buildings in cities to simulate natural ecological systems. Vertical farming is the type of farming that is done in high rised buildings in cities.This meathod is practised only in few parts of the country.
What Is Dry Land Farming?
Dry Land Farming is an agricultural technique
for non-irrigated cultivation of Dry lands.
Scientific management of lands without irrigation
is called dry land farming.
Dry land farming is uniquely dependent on
Natural rainfall, which can leave the ground vulnerable
to dust storms. A Fallow period must be included in
the crop rotation for protection against erosion.
