Abstracts: System Manager focuses on automating the process of setting up and managing local and remote Application as well as Database servers for Argusoft. The main objective of this system is to minimize the manual efforts for this entire process. The admin at ‘Argusoft India’ would be able to setup and manage the Application servers as well as Database servers at remote locations easily. System will manage remote infrastructure or both the application and database servers. It's a server-client model where admin have rights to manage specific systems. Admin will be able to perform various activities like setup a new application server, start-stop-restart Application server, Database backup and restore, can perform schedule activities like start-stop application server, backup database and deployment of application servers tasks. Also, system will provide status of application servers running on specific system. Following are the main stages of the System Manager: 1. Create and manage new users of the system. 2. Create and configure new remote application servers as well as database servers. 3. Manage Application Servers remotely. 4. Manage Services remotely. 5. Create/Manage Databases on remote Database servers. 6. Scheduled backups of databases, start-stop of application servers, deployment tasks. 7. Monitor the application servers for the active/inactive services or application servers and display the status report to the respective admin/sub-admin that are responsible for managing them. System consists of following functional modules: 1. Server Management 2. User Management 3. Notification Engine 4. Scheduler Engine.
