Through the illustrate systems theory, we may apply systems thinking to the conflict in asking for a raise.
A holistic approch will assist in preparing for the negotiation.
Using the this approach we recognize that a raise may tend to disrupt the system & the system will exert pressure to maintain the status quo.
Managing,Resolving,& Avoiding Conflict, through Negotition
Managing:It is using the conflict for constructive purposes.
Resolving:It is the best course of action when behaviors are destructive through the conflict.
Avoiding:Avoidance may also be the most effective strategy when the conflict is constructive.
