AIM:
The aim of this project is to develop under water communication system using the zigbee protocol stack.
Description:
The project contains two microcontroller boards among which one of the controllers consists of a Sensor node. In which the microcontroller is interfaced with Temperature sensor and Gas sensor. The sensor node is placed inside the water. The sensors interfaced with the sensor node continuously monitor the temperature of the water and the presence of carbohydrate gases in the water. The processed data is transmitted to the control node through zigbee.
The other microcontroller board acts as control node. When the processed data is received the microcontroller compares the data i.e. the sensors output with the threshold values. If the value is above or below the threshold value the buzzer blows which is interfaced with the microcontroller. The keypad is interfaced to the microcontroller. When the key is pressed from the keypad the sensor output will be displayed on the LCD.
The system uses a compact circuitry built around flash version of at89s52 microcontroller. Programs are developed in embedded c. ISP is used to dump the code into the microcontroller.
