Abstracts: In this dissertation work investigation on machining characterization of carbon fiber reinforced plastic is carried out for drilling operation. This investigation is carried out to find out hole quality parameters. Here we are studying about the Temperature variance and the delamination of CFRP material. In this study, the variable parameters, that affect much, are taken as input parameters. They are spindle speed and feed rate and point angle of the drill tool output parameters are as Hole size and circularity and temperature variance while drilling. Work material is taken as CFRP. We have taken drill diameter as 6mm. All the experiments were conducted on Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) made of BATLIBOI in KARNAVATI AUTO ENGINEERING PVT. LTD, Ahmedabad. Taguchi method based on design of experiment is used and depending upon the design, total 27 experiments were performed. The output parameters are measured with the accurate method. Hole Size and Circularity are measured with Digital Vernier at KARNAVATI AUTO ENGINEERING PVT. LTD,, Ahmedabad. Second part of the dissertation work focuses on analysis of results and multi response optimization. Analysis is done using MINITAB 17 statistical software specifically used for design of experiment analysis. For the verification of the optimized results gained by MINITAB software.
