The Oscilloscope :
How an Oscilloscope works and what really is an Oscilloscope, is explained here under. The oscilloscope is basically a graph-displaying device – it draws a graph of an electrical signal. In most applications, the graph shows how signals change over time: the vertical (Y) axis represents voltage and the horizontal (X) axis represents time. The intensity or brightness of the display is sometimes called the Z axis.
The Systems and Controls of an Oscilloscope :
The Oscilloscope Comprises of 4-systems– the vertical system, horizontal system, trigger system, and display system.Understanding each of these systems will enable you to effectively apply the oscilloscope to tackle your specific measurement challenges.
When using an oscilloscope, you need to adjust three basic settings to accommodate an incoming signal:
DIGITAL MULTIMETER
Introduction. The SCIENTECH hand-held DMM 4011 is a compact, light weight and "Truly Multi" multi meter. The high class Engineering and
rugged design ensures very reliable performance. Before using instrument read this operating manual carefully and make yourself thoroughly familiar with this instrument's operations.
