When it comes to marketing, many services firms devote most of their resources to attracting new consumer. Efforts to retain existing customers are minimal, at least in so far as forma marketing programming is concerned. This view of marketing is needlessly and potentially wasteful. It is needlessly restrictive because firms benefit by keeping valued customers as well as by attracting new customers. Assuming equality in customer attractiveness, the firms that attracts 100 new customers and loses 20 existing customers for new gain of 80 customers is better off than the firms attracting 130 new customers but losing 60 for net gain of 70 customers.

SPINNING
Spinning process has objective to produce yarn with specific linear density, with maximum of quality at reduced cost within specific time limit and as in OCM most stress is given on quality aspects, which makes it market leader in worsted products. Thus following set of objectives, this has divided, into two sections.
OBJECTIVES :
1. Maximum level of production with higher utilization.
2. Specified level of quality for customer (final fabric user) satisfaction.
3. with minimum of cost.
4. Contamination free yarn.
We process different type of blend material in proportion of blend :-
· 55% polyester 45% wool.
· 65% polyester 35% wool.
· 75% polyester 25% wool.
· 62% polyester 38% wool.
· 100% All wool from 14.5 micron to 30.5 micron.
DEPARTMENT :-
In OCM spinning department is mainly divided into two departments.
Ø NEW SPINNING
Ø POST SPINNING
