The Effect of Head Motion on the Accuracy of Sound Localization
ABSTRACT
In this study, we demonstrated that head motion can overcome the individual differences in head-related transfer functions
(HRTFs). The up-down head motion, however, did not remove the decrease in localization accuracy. These results support that
the changes in binaural cues make a major contribution to the localization accuracy.
