Abstracts: Paracetamol powder has become more attractive in pharmaceutical industries. The purpose of our project is to find out some major engineering problems and modify the production process. It is observed that, the effect of several parameters, including temperature maintenance due to exothermic process and concentration at each point. And other factors have impact on power utilization to transfer raw material pera amino phenol (PAP) slurry by using liquid pump and desired particle size. Process includes a newly designed Agitated nutsche filter cum dryer equipment for both filtration and drying purpose, in which product having some moisture content and we do not get desired purity of product. Our study resolves some possible feasible solutions, which are, we can used fluidized bed dryer in place of agitated nutsche filter cum dryer, another is we can use slurry pump in place of liquid pump to transfer raw material. In this way by process modification we can utilize more effective Paracetamol.
