Job analysis:
Job analysis deals with the anatomy of the job. It is the complete study of job embodying every known and determinable factor, including the duties and responsibilities involved in its performance; the conditions under which performance is carried on; the nature of task; the qualifications required in the worker; and the conditions employment, such as pay, hour, opportunities and privileges. Job analysis can be divided in two following part :
Job:
A job may be defined as an assignment of work calling for a set of duties, responsibilities and conditions that are different from those of other work assignments. For example; two salesman who are performing similar duties and who require similar training , experience and personal characteristics would be said to hold the same kind of job though they may be working in widely separated parts of the store.
Position:
A position is a set of duties and tasks assigned to an individual. There are as many position as the number person in organization. Thus, when several persons are engaged in similar works , each one is said to have the same job, but all have different positions.
Occupation:
It is used wide sense. It refer to a group of job s that are similar as to kind of work or that possess common characteristics.
Job duties:
Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires.
Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
