UL LISTED NON-ASPIRATING.pptx (Size: 207.2 KB / Downloads: 20)
THE SALIENT FEATURES OF MONITORS:
Monitor discharge in the form of hollow jet and spray arrangement
Foam feeding by a separate & single aqua powered foam inductor. The induction system will be UL listed
The Foam Inductor feeding foam concentrate from a horizontal distance of up-to 60 meters from the Monitor Nozzle
The inlet and outlet of foam Inductor 63 mm male and female instantaneous couplings as per IS: 903
The length of the foam pick up tube 3-4 Meters, possible to induct 3% foam for all the three flows, however, variation of +20% of the induction rate is permissible
Discharge capacity of Monitor 1000 USGPM, 750 USGPM and 500 USGPM at a pressure of 7.0Kg/CM2 & 2000 USGPM, 1500 USGPM and 1000 USGPM at a pressure of 7.0Kg/CM2
The nozzle produce foam with foam expansion ratio 1:3 to 1:4
Traversing mechanism of Monitor to give 340° in either direction in horizontal plane and +90° & -45° in vertical plane through swivel joints operated by worm and worm wheel operated geared unit alongwith separate wheel for horizontal and vertical movement of the monitor.
The arrangement for monitor movements can be done by a single person
The Swivel Joints of SS ball bearing with efficient sealing
The monitor in variable flow adjustment type and possible to set all three flow rates easily and quickly at site
Selection of Flow setting made from the Nozzle of the Monitor
Capable of changing the Flow from one setting to another during the operation of monitor under pressurized condition without shutting down the monitor or isolating the line
There will not be any flanged joint on the monitor body, except one at base flange. Other Joint between monitor body & nozzle will be threaded type
A pressure gauge to indicate the inlet pressure fitted on the monitor body near inlet of nozzle.
Pressure drop across the monitor will be less than 10 PSI
A drain connection with valve provided near the base flange
To resist the nozzle reaction forces during operation and capable of being handled by one person
Possible to operate the monitor at 10.5 Kg/cm2 pressure at Inlet flange
