This project offers different on and off times to provide the water supply to different locations. The system starts delivering water to a specific location only at pre-programmed intervals. As the DS1307 Real Time Clock chip with backup battery is used, there will be no disturbances for the scheduled on / off times, even in case of power failures. DS1307 is interconnected to the microcontroller for the actual synchronization performance. A 3V battery can be connected to the DS1307 to avoid time disturbances caused by power failures. The user can even change the pre-programmed times and adjust their times according to their needs. Thus, in the pre-programmed times, the person operates the valve to start the water supply from the control room. An audio prompt is provided to alert the operator to act accordingly. LCD is used to display times and also display the name of the current location to which the water supply is provided.
