The main objective of this project is to provide uninterrupted power supply to a tax, by the offer of any source to select from 4 different sources such as mains power, generator and inverter and solar energy automatically in the absence of one of the source. This project uses four switches to the respective failure of that source of supply. A 8051 family micro control unit used. The output of the microcontroller to the relay driver IC that can relay a continuous supply to maintain the load switches. When one of the switch is pressed, the absence of that particular source. Switches are connected microcontroller as input signals. The exit is observed using a lamp drawing nutrition from the outlet initially.
Upon failure of the main power supply (which is operated by pressing the right switch) the load gets offer from the next available source, say an inverter. If the inverter also fails it switches to the next available source and so on. The current status, to which source provides to the tax is also displayed on an LCD. Since it is not feasible to all 4 different vendors about one source with alternating protections provide the same function.
SCHEDULE EXPLANATION:
This project uses a ranking of 4 different suppliers who channelized a tax in order to ensure a continuous operation of the charge. Because it is not possible to get the 4 sources of supply, such as power supply, generator supply, inverter supply and solar range, we used one source and a set of relays. We have first source taken with mains supply and adopted as from 4 different sources is fed by all 4 incoming sources in parallel. The ac source to the lamp is connected to four relays by making the entire parallel and all common normally open contacts contacts parallel. 4 push button switches are used, which represent respectively the failure of matching offer and are attached to the controller. Initially we have high input signal to the microcontroller, is due to the controller generates a low score to the first relay driver that will result in the relay is energized and activates the light lights up. While the push button is pressed that the failure of power supply mains voltage sets due to the power supply the following source value and the microcontroller received high input generates low output on the second relay driver that will result in the second relay is activated and the light lights up. When we on the generator button, it means that the generator does not work and the supply is taken from the following source and the following source high input supply to the controller and that low signal will give to the third relay and the light comes on and when we press the third button press the offer will chose next to source now the fourth source will provide inputs for the microcontroller and the controller activates the fourth relays and the tax will get the offer and the lamp stays on.
When all relays are takes off no power supply of the lamp, the lamp turned off. A 16 x 2 lines LCD is used to the State of the supply sources and the tax of real time.
Conclusion:
The main scope of this project is a continuous power supply to the starting load provided by one of the sources from which we used the device, d.w.z., generator and inverter and solar automatically in the absence of any of the source. The full operation of the project is based on the microcontroller. This project is a low-cost, reliable, effective and efficient system. This project gave us the confidence and practical knowledge and makes us to learn about good things.
FUTURE SCOPE:
The project can be further enhanced by the use of other sources, such as wind power too and then taking into account the use of the best possible ability whose rate is lowest at that time.
