I am a researcher in image processing and working on Image segmentation. I would like to use parallel genetic algorithm for the same purpose. Please help me with sample code of algorithm and tell me how to go ahead.
That is an elliptical cell boundary model is introduced to describe the boundary of the cell. First we obtain the image of the gradient using Canny edge detector; and then use dynamic kernel-based clustering to find out the points in the image that have a high probability belonging to each cell. Finally, a parallel genetic algorithm is used to adjust the parameters of the cellular contour model to find a better match. The results of segmentation of noisy images of human and small intestinal thyroid cells demonstrate that the proposed method is very successful in segmenting elliptical cell images.
These two schemes are based on the adaptive selection of windows based on the proposed window fusion and the growth of windows. The windows are selected according to the entropy and entropy characteristic criteria. Segmentation schemes based on PGA and MMSE have been proposed to segment the selected windows a priori. The efficacy of the proposed approaches has been compared with the pyramidal approach of the Huang fusion. It was found that the proposed approaches showed improved performance in the context of segmentation accuracy.
