In the current scenario small strands of RNA produced by non-coding DNA regions namely interference RNA (RNAi) is the hottest topic in bio- medical research. One of the interference RNA is miRNA and it is proved to be gene expression regulators in the proliferation of Cancer, differentiation of Stem cells, etc., by regulat-ing the protein translation mechanism. miRNAs having great poten-tial to block the translation of mRNAs or some times they do de-grade the mRNAs. miRNA related sequences are present in most of the genomes, but this information is unexplored and there is a need to study the mechanism of miRNA in detail. miRNA based research oscillating between computational biology and experimental biology.
