Hi I am Shweta, i would like to get the details on data flow diagram of cpu scheduling.I hail from jodhpur and pursuing my btech.
i need your help with the data flow diagram of cpu scheduling.
CPU SCHEDULING is a key concept in the multitasking of computers, multiprocessing operating systems and real-time operating system designs. Programming refers to the way processes are allocated to run on available CPUs, as there are typically many more processes running than available CPUs.
The CPU programming deals with the problem of deciding which of the processes of the preparation queue is going to be assigned to the CPU. By changing the CPU between processes, the operating system can make the computer more productive. A multiprogramming operating system allows more than one process to be loaded into executable memory at a time and loaded processes share the CPU using time multiplexing.
The programming algorithm is the method by which threads, processes, or data flows have access to system resources (eg, processor time, communications bandwidth). The need for a scheduling algorithm arises from the requirement that most modern systems perform multiple tasks (execute more than one process at a time) and multiplexing (transmit multiple streams simultaneously).
