Abstracts: This project is about designing and fabricating the metal can crusher, it helps people to crush the tin and aluminum can easily at public places. This project includes many components such as frame structure, hand wheel, piston, connecting road etc. Overall, this project involves designing, synthesis, force analysis, fabrication and assembling procedures. Even though there are many types of can crusher machines in the market, the completion of this new model provides a more practical usage! Can Crusher works on “Slider Crank “mechanism, in which , a crank is an arm joined at right angle to a rotating shaft by which reciprocating motion is received from the shaft . It converts the circular motion into reciprocating motion. It consists of four links: Piston rod , Crank , Connecting rod and the Cylinder . Finally In this project we will try to eliminate power motor and excessive materials and reduce the weight for cost effectiveness considering design and analysis.
