Testing of solar water heating systems is very important from the point of view of comparing and selecting one for this application. Outdoor testing is still widely used for this purpose and a number of standards have been developed. This work is directed on Thermosiphon solar hot water system (TSDHWS). an extensive literature review was conducted with the development in the implementation of such rules. You can see that relative comparative assessment tests, standards stand in total were reported. In this report, qualitative comparison of these procedures were presented. Solar only standards carefully studied experimentally to examine their advantages and disadvantages. Found that the working conditions for some of the standards are stringent and require long periods of testing. Developed a new comprehensive and complete test procedure. Three characteristic parameters, namely: (I) a description of the effectiveness of the system, (II) the quotient of Sun losses and (III) the loss factor night day explained the behavior of TSDHWS. The first two parameters reflect the performance during the collection phase, and the third is the ability to withhold energy. the test period of seven hours doing the testing effort on all sites in India. Half the sampling frequency was found to be insufficient for the measurement and data collection. The results of the test were not sensitive to the repeatability and measurement errors. TSDHWS performance on a single test site for 10 days can predict its performance in any month of the year in any of the missions of the test sites studied. Thus, the new method is simple and is applicable to various TSDHWS. This can be considered for adoption as a standard procedure.
