UML Modeling of Physical and Data Link Layer Security
Attacks in WSN
Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are growing Increasingly attractive for a variety of Areas of application such as information monitoring, Industrial secrets, air pollution monitoring, area monitoring, And detection of forest fires, home automation, industry Monitoring and many more. As WSN is mainly used for Information specific to the application of the Environment, it is very important to protect the
Confidential data of unauthorised access. WSNs are vulnerable Various security attacks due to the nature of Radio transmission. The main weakness shared by all Wireless applications and technologies is vulnerability Security / threat attacks. The performance and behaviour of a WSN are greatly affected by these attacks. In order to be able to Better to solve WSN vulnerabilities in terms of Security, it is important to understand the behaviour of Attacks.
The objective of this work is to address the behavioural modelling of Security attack that resides in the physical layer and data link Layer of wireless sensor network. UML gives the best Schematic representation of any system that is Developers. Our efforts to synchronise WSN with UML are Discussed in the document. Security attacks are modelled by Using the Unified Modelling Language State Machine Diagram (UML). This modelling of security attacks Developers to develop countermeasures.
