Nestlé S.A. Is a Swiss transnational food and beverage company based in Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland. It has been the largest food company in the world, measured by revenues and other metrics, for 2014, 2015 and 2016. Parle Agro
Parle Agro is an Indian private limited company owned by Frooti, Appy, LMN, Hippo and Bailey. Several brands of Parle soda including Citra, Thums Up, Maaza, Limca and Gold Spot were sold to Coca-Cola in 1993 for a $ 40 million report. At the time of the sale, Parle's brands together had a market share of 60% in the industry. The brand was strong in South India. Citra was eliminated in 2000 to make way for the international brand of Coca-Cola, Sprite.
Parle Products was founded in 1929 in British India. It was owned by the Chauhan family of Vile Parle, Mumbai. Parle's original company was divided into three separate companies owned by the different factions of the original Chauhan family:

Parle Agro began operations in 1984. It began with beverages and then diversified into bottled water (1993), plastic containers (1996) and confectionery (2007). Frooti, the first product launched by Parle Agro in 1985, became the best-selling mango drink in India.

Parle Agro also diversified in the production of PET preforms (semi-finished bottles) in 1996. Its clients include companies in the beverage, grocery, confectionery and pharmaceutical segments.
