The sources of energy for man are drying up. The era of fossil fuels is going to end soon. Scientists are now working to find new sources of renewable energy. Along with renewable energy sources like light and wind comes gravity.
Gravity is a phenomenon that existed since the beginning of the universe, but only discovered by Sir Isaac Newton no more than 400 years ago. Recently, scientists began to generate energy from gravity.
The basic concept of a gravity power generation mechanism is simple. When a body goes from a higher altitude to a lower one its potential energy becomes kinetic energy through linear motion. This movement becomes a circular movement and then becomes electricity with a dynamo.
A challenge in this mechanism is to obtain a continuous supply of energy. A body can not go down infinitely, but for the continuous generation of energy this practically impossible scenario is necessary.
An interesting solution to this problem was invented by Mr. Rajesh Mulchandani and has applied for the patent. It uses the gravity and buoyancy of the water to generate a continuous upward and downward movement. The mechanism consists of a tank full of water 50-60 meters high with 2 balanced masses able to move using both buoyancy and gravity.
