The Howrah train division is one of the four railway divisions in the eastern rail area of the Indian Railways. This railway division was formed in 1854 and its headquarters are located in Howrah, in the state of West Bengal of India. The railway division of Howrah, the railway division of Sealdah and the railway division of Malda are the other railway divisions under the ER Zone based in Kolkata.
