Tricycle rickshaw is a very cheap medium of short distance transportation, both in the city and in the rural areas. Tricycle rickshaw is usually powered by human energy. A study has been made with the existing model and design of tricycles rickshaws. It has been observed that traditional rickshaws use old technology, poor mechanical design and therefore non-ergonomic in maneuverability. An effort has been directed at designing a light, high-strength, and ergonomic, both electric-powered electric rickshaws and electric-powered rickshaws. The proposed model is powered with 400W, 24V DC permanent magnet motor in addition to human energy. Both options can operate independently, as well as in parallel hybrid mode. The structural design of the rickshaw has been analyzed using Autodesk's Inventor software to see the effect of different unbalanced voltages. It was noted that the overall structural design was safe. The rear of the tricycle was less affected (0.0001249 Pa) while the front coupling connected to the front wheel is more likely to affect (1.4438e8) by different tests of unbalanced impacts.
