3D-DOCTOR is an advanced 3D modeling, image processing and measurement software for image applications RM, CT, PET, microscopy, scientific and industrial. 3D-DOCTOR supports grayscale and color images stored in DICOM, TIFF, Interfile, GIF, JPEG, PNG, BMP, PGM, MRC, RAW or other image file formats. 3D-DOCTOR creates 3D surface models and volume rendering from real-time 2D cross-sectional images on your PC.
You can export polygon mesh models to STL (ASCII and Binary), DXF, IGES, 3DS, OBJ, VRML, PLY, XYZ and other formats for surgical planning, simulation, quantitative analysis, finite element analysis and rapid prototyping applications. You can calculate the 3D volume and make other 3D measurements for the quantitative analysis. 3D-DOCTOR vector-based tools support easy-to-use image data, measurement and analysis.
3D CT / MRI images can be easily re-cut along an arbitrary axis. Multiple-mode images can be recorded to create image merges. The misaligned slices can be automatically or semi-automatically aligned with 3D-DOCTOR image alignment functions. Other image processing functions include template-based film cropping, resection of images to correct uneven thickness cuts, volume resizing and image rotation.
