Intelligent call routing system
Here, call routing service provider is associated with a series of partners. Through supporting the partners, efficiencies are gained through cost-spreading.The system uses a centralized bank of shared Interactive Voice Response (IVR) units so that unwanted post-routing and call site interflow are reduced. The system comprises a central server system that interfaces with a long distance provider from whom route requests are received, caller infomaton is retrieved from databases, routing and handling strategies are developed, load balancing is effected, and calls are appropriately routed to one of the many geographically separated call center systems with queues staffed by agents. The system employs decision logic based on customer behavior in order to provide routing strategies and handling strategies.The main parts of the system are: 1.central server system 2 data logger system 3 administrative controller system 4 call router database 5 IVR system1 6 IVRsystem2 7 call site center system1 8 call site center system2 9 call site center system3 10 IXC interface 11 interexchange carrier (IXC) 12 local exchange carrier 13 and caller.
