Solar grass cutter is a fully automated robotic automotive robotic vehicle powered by solar energy that also avoids obstacles and is capable of fully automated grass cutting without the need for any human interaction. The system uses 6V batteries to power the vehicle's motion motors as well as the grass cutter motor. We also use a solar panel to charge the battery so there is no need to charge it externally. The grass cutter and vehicle motors are connected to an 8051 family microcontroller that controls the operation of all motors. It is also connected to an ultrasonic sensor for object detection. The microcontroller moves the vehicle's motors in the forward direction in the event that no obstacle is detected. In the detection of obstacles the ultrasonic sensor supervises it and the microcontroller thus stops the motor of the mask of the grass to avoid any damage to the object / human / animal whatever. The microcontroller then rotates the robotic as it detaches itself from the object and then moves the lawnmower forward again.
Grass cutting machines have become very popular today. Most of the time, grass cutters are used for soft grass furniture. At a time when technology is merging with environmental awareness, consumers are looking for ways to contribute to the relief of their own carbon footprints. Pollution is artificial and can be seen in our own daily lives, more specifically in our homes. In this sense, we propose a model of automatic lawn mowing machine through solar energy (non-renewable energy). Automatic lawn mower is a machine that will perform the lawn mowing operation on its own. This model reduces environmental and acoustic pollution.
