At present the generation of electricity from solar sources is being achieved a notable advantage. Large-scale electrical power can be generated using the concentrated solar thermal power plant with the storage system. It is made that the solar thermal power plant (STPP) can not function steadily and continuously due to the variability of solar irradiation. This work proposed an optimum mode of operation of the hybrid STPP plant with biomass for the continuous generation of electricity. The proposed system would contribute to the operation of the biomass-supported hybrid solar thermal power plant (STHPP) in a stable and continuous way for the generation of electric energy. This document is a technological review for the STPP operating mode that will guarantee 100% electricity generation from renewable sources with optimized operating strategies. The STHPP storage system contributes to saving biomass fuel which will increase the overall efficiency of the plant.
