Current trends in the development of electronic systems demonstrate that the provision of thin flexible and semiconductor components plays a decisive role in the progressive development of highly integrated systems. A new generation of thin flexible electronic systems emerges. At present, this world is very dominated by inorganic active materials, in particular thin flexible silicon integrated circuits, but a new functionality based on conductive and semi-conductive plastic materials is developing rapidly. Design freedom, compact notebook products, cost-effective production and assembly, environmentally friendly materials, software-based printed circuit boards, flexible polymer transistors and flexible flexible silicon ICs - there are undeniable advantages of flexible electronics. At present, micro-systems are being investigated and developed that incorporate fluid, mechanical, optical and electrical components. A new word, "polytronics" (polymer + electronics) has appeared in electronic vocabulary as a short name for this rapidly developed technology.
