hi im currently doing rfid based shopping trolley project. In that i need to provide a module for also taking out the product from the trolley to replace it.is there any suggestions for this?
Now days of shopping and shopping in the big shopping centers are becoming a daily activity in metropolitan cities. We can see a huge hurry in shopping malls on weekends and holidays. The rush is even more when there are special offers and discount. People buy different items and put them in a cart. After the total purchase one has to go to the check-in desk for payments. In the billing counter, the cashier prepares the invoice using a barcode reader which is a time-consuming process and results in long queues on the billing counters. Our goal is to develop a system that can be used in shopping centers to solve the aforementioned challenge. The system will be placed on all cars. It will consist of an RFID reader. All products in the mall will be equipped with RFID tags. When a person puts any product in the cart, their code will be detected and the price of those products will be stored in the memory. As we put the products, the costs are added to the total invoice. Therefore, the billing will be made in the car itself. The item name and cost will be displayed on the LCD. Also the name of the products and their cost can be announced with headphones.
In order to meet these needs the technology had been introduced in the application of various automatic identification technologies and had provoked a revolution in testing the quality of services. radio frequency identification technology is considered as the boon for the current marketplace in testing automatic identification facilities that helps in handling the goods and materials effectively.
RFID technology identifies objects virtually unlike barcode technologies, the phenomenon lies in the function of RFID tags in transforming antenna data, ie the coil to the reader.
By using the RFID system based on the purchase system of the project the security levels are increased, once the product is placed or the system generates the summary of the inventory, including the value of the price. And if any un-invoiced product is taken from the user it will alert by making continuous beep sound. The main components of this project are RFID tags, RFID reader, microcontroller, controller circuit, alarm and relay. The representation of the block diagram is as shown in the lower circuit.
