The world over the decades has made considerable advances in automation; Automation is used in all sectors, whether in the home or in industry. Here is a new and cheap design. This design finds tremendous use at primary and secondary school levels, as well as at universities where teaching sections can span more than eight periods including breaks. The advantage of this design is that the bell rings at the beginning of each period without any human intervention with a great degree of precision and therefore assumes the manual task of turning the school bell on / off with respect to time. Uses the real time clock (DS1307) that follows the real time. The programmed time results are compared to those of a clock, however, some drift is observed, which is insignificant. The AT89S52 microcontroller is used to control all functions, it obtains the time through the keyboard and stores it in its memory. When this set time is equal to the actual time, then the bell is turned on by a relay for a predetermined time. The bell timing of the bell can be edited at any time, so that it can be reused again and again in normal class times, as well as in test times. It can also be password protected so that no unintended person can operate this system except for the operator. To do this, a microcontroller must be programmed using the C language or assembler language to control the circuit.
In today's life, everyone gives importance to time. Time waits for no one. Everything must be done in time and accurately. Now a day school / university bells are run by hand. Therefore, there is a great question of accuracy. There is also a need for labor and money. So here we have presented a system, which saves our labor and money and also give the highest precision. A bell is a percussion instrument used in schools and colleges that instructs students when it is time to go to class in the morning and when it is time to change class during the day. No other instrument can do such work. Therefore, it is an important instrument in elementary and secondary schools and even in industries and other businesses where the bell timer plays a critical role throughout the day. Clock towers can be heard over the distance which was especially important at the time when clocks were too expensive for extensive use. And also because of the knowledge of literacy the number of schools, schools and institutions are increasing rapidly. At present the bells for periods in schools are operated manually. After each class, an employee is engaged in operating the hood. The automatic university bell helps us avoid this. This design takes over the task of ringing the bell in the universities as the bell would ring automatically on the schedule. It has a real-time clock (DS1307) that tracks in real time. When this time is equal to the bell time of the bell, then the relay for the bell lights up. The real-time clock is displayed on the LCD. This is very wonderful design to control the running of the university bell.
