Setup the experiment and analyzed the mixing characteristics of two confined coaxial jets. A jet of helium was used as the central stream and air as the annular stream. Helium was released in the test section where the mixing of helium and air started. Oxygen concentration was recorded at various radial and axial locations by the help of gas analyzer. The oxygen concentration data was used to calculate the helium mole fraction. Curves were plotted for the mole fraction of helium (central stream) versus distance of probe from center. Finally porous material was inserted in the test section and effect of porous material on mixing was studied by comparing the different plots
