Abstracts: This paper describes the sensing and control systems of an automated guided vehicle (AGV) designed to reach the required destination with the help of infrared sensors. The onboard system includes guidance and feedback controllers running on microcontroller, D.C. motor. AGV in the factory has an important role to advance the flexible manufacturing system. In this project, we propose a computer control (P.C) AGV systems. It is more flexible, easy to work than other types and cheaper also. It is a wireless process. The vehicle moves to required destination by receiving the data’s from computer. Input is given through C program and the signal is send to AGV. A MICROPROCESSOR is used to control the AGV. Relays are used for FORWARD, LEFT and RIGHT turns.
