Introduction:
Unique Identity management (or Unique Identity, or simply UIM) is a broad administrative area that deals with identifying individuals in a system (such as a country, a network, or an organization) and controlling access to the resources in that system by placing restrictions on the established identities of the individuals.
Identity management (IM) is a term related to how humans are identified and recognized in the society.
MODULES DESCRIPTION:
Registration:
This module deals with the registration of each and every individual. In this system the administrator takes the responsibility to register the moderators and the security officials. Whereas, all the citizens who has above 18years of age can register himself/herself directly to the system.
Search:
This module deals with the searching of every registered citizen with their unique identity. The details of a person can be viewed, verified or modified by the officials or moderators based on their searching with their unique identity.
Bill Payments:
This module deals with different functionalities like paying telephone bills, electricity bills etc for the registered users when once they login into the system.
Report Generation:
This module deals with different reports such as registered users, officials, moderators in the system.
CONCLUSION:
The application can now identify each and every individual uniquely. Every citizen is identified for all the Government transactions with the help of his Unique Identity number generated. The application integrates various Government departments into a single point of Contact. This helps in avoiding unnecessary delays or find where the delay is happening when applications are processed. The application can be extended to all the Government departments with modification. New modules can be added without affecting the existing modules.
