Abstracts: The project is designed to develop a fire fighting robot using RF technology for remote operation. The robotic vehicle is loaded with water tanker and a pump which is controlled over wireless communication to throw water. An AVR microcontroller is used for the desired operation. When the fire takes place, the fire alarm informs the industry about the fire and the operator of the control room switches the robot either to manual or automatic mode. If the fire has taken place within the industry premises, then it is switched to self controlled mode and if it is outside the industry premises, it is switched to remote control mode.
