Wireless power is transferred from the transmitter to the receiver coil using the inductive coupling principle. For wireless power transfer to work efficiently, the transmitter and receiver frequency must be tuned to the same frequency. The LC tank on the transmitter side produces an oscillating magnetic field of the tuned frequency. The LC tank on the receiver side is the same as the transmitter side frequency, thus achieving high efficiency. Let's build a wireless LED. It provides power to the LED in the base of inductive coupling, wireless transmission of electric power happening here with magnetic coupled flux coils.
