SECURITY ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM USING PIC MICROCONTROLLER

Even the modern businessman thrive on success for the concept time, money & security.

For money security lockers are there, security system for home, saving electronic ckt. protection and many more

Now we are giving something new and very secure system to secure you and your property

Introduction

Security is prime concern in our day-today life. Every one wants to be as much as secure as to be possible.

In our project we implemented a digital lock which is based on Microcontroller.

Which give security by accessing theft or unwanted users.

It has system where only authorized person will give the password after giving that password the lock can be open

If the entered password is incorrect upto three time the system will give alarm.


Pic microcontroller 16F84

PIC is the IC which was developed to control the peripheral device, dispersing the function of the main CPU.

PIC has the calculation function and the memory like the CPU and is controlled by the software.

The PIC MCU has clock frequency of about 20MHZ and the memory capacity to write the program is about 1K to 4K words.

The clock frequency is related with the speed to read the program and to execute the instruction

Features of pic 16f84

It is a RISC processor and use harvard architecture.
The instruction set of PIC consists of only 35 single word instructions.
It has eight level deep hardware stack.
It has in built power-on-reset (POR).
It has programmable code protection.
It supports a power saving SLEEP mode.
It operates on wide voltage range :2.5v to 6.0v
It consumes low power

Relay description

A single pole double throw (SPDT) relay is connected to pin 17(RA0) of the micro controller through a driver transistor.

The relay requires 12 volts at a current of around 50 mamp,so the driver transistor is added.

The relay is used to operate the external solenoid forming part of a locking device or for operating any other electrical device.

As soon as pin of the micro controller goes high, the relay operates

Keypad

This is device, built around a PIC16F84 is a 3x4 matrix keypad.
With the help of these we are entering the code .
We can enter password ranging from 0 to 9 with the help of these code. These code can be changed and we can enter the new code.
The code changed is also remembered by the IC when the power is off.


ADVANTAGES

Circuit is easier than others.

Using this circuit we can make secure our important files , documents etc

Using this circuit we can restrict the unauthorized person to enter in our restricted area.

Low cost due to the use of such components such as relay, PIC microcontroller

In home automation system

 In industrial safety


Future scope

This system can be further use for the data care center like Central Data Care center.

By including Face reorganization in the system with digital Lock we can give a very High security.

From above project we conclude that by implementing such ideas we can secure our important documents, money & like that other valuable things.
