GALAXY GEAR SMARTWATCH
INTRODUCTION
1)The Galaxy Gear Samsung’s latest foray into the smartwatch category , is now official and it’s quite unlike anything you have seen before.
(2) It has a 1.9megapixel camera , a speaker & two microphones----allowing you to shoot short 720p movies& even conduct phone calls with the galaxy gear
CONSTRUCTION
It contain the following parts -
Actual gear is 1.45 inches * 2.2inches.
2. The screen size is 1.63 inches diagonally with a thrifty 320*320 resolution,
3. A single core 800MHz Exynos processor ,
4. A metal face , buckle and
5. A selection of six different shades of adjustable wrist band.
ABOUT SMARTWATCH
1. Samsung’s Galaxy Gear Smart Watch is an attractive , albiet bulky , entry into the suddenly while not smartphone and wearable technology market.
2. The Galaxy Gear is not a phone in its own right ---- it relies on a Bluetooth connection to your Samsung Galaxy device in order to do most of its connected work.
Critical success
It’s symbolic move by samsung. While everyone talking about wearable personal computing gizmos., samsung is the first major company to actually make one
NOTE – Google is also developing a face-computer called GOOGLE GLASS , it will be available after one year
PROBLEM WITH IT
It works only with one samsung phone , the soon-to-be-realesed Galaxy note III. The galaxy gear won’t work with other smartphones
