Bio metric voting system

Introduction:
An automated system capable of capturing a biometric sample from an end user.
Bio metric refers to the identification of humans by their characteristics or traits.
The traits may be fingerprints,hand geometry ,facial geometry,ratina patterns,voice recognition.
Design:-
Scanning using – DSP digital signal processor.
Searching – Searching the database.
Networking- All the election booths ars connected in a network.
Data transfer- Using telephone lines.
Finger print scanner
This is used to scan the thumb impression.
A/D converter :- this is used to convert the analog data into the digital data and transfer it to the processor.
Flash Room:- this for the storage of the data temporarily in the DSP processor.
DSP chip:- This is used to recive the data and process it.
ADVANTAGE :-
The system is highly reliable and secure.
In the long run the maintenance cost is very loss when compare to the present system.
It is possible to get instantaneous result and with high accuracy .
CONCLUSION
Thus the advent of this biometric thumb impression voating system would enable hosting of fair election in india.
The citizens can be sure that they alone can choose their leaders,thus exercising their right in the democracy.
