ABSTRACT

The customer order processing system involves the transaction between organization and its customer. The customer varieties of goods such as: super print and wax. This research project records the daily transaction between the customer and organization and there after process it to generate monthly reports. This research project focuses on two main reports of transaction. Which are the customer balance report and the customer statement The customer balance report contains the report status of customer as at the date it was printed, it is meant for the consumption of the customers and is issued at the end of every month, which shows the total amount of money paid in by the customer and the deliveries made to the customer for that month. While the customer statement is a report generated by the system.

0 Introduction

Customer order processing system is a system put in place mostly by manufacturing organizations to carry out transactions between the organization and its customer with regards to marketing the goods being produced.
This system keeps record of daily transactions as well as to generate report for the management of the organization and its customers both for decision making and reference purposes.
Before now, there had been a manual method of handling this kind of tasks which brought up some problems like. Inaccuracies of results and time consumption judging by the volume of data needed to be processed. As a result of these shortcoming observed, a computerized system is recommended so as to enhance efficient work and to aid a good management information system.
Hence, the available computerized of customer order processing system is used to carry out some certain work in order to use a computer program to develop the business transaction between the organization and its customer for decision making. However, this system involves the process of registering any customer that buys goods by opening an account for him/her, so that at any time a customer can pay in his/her money into the account as well as to make requisition for goods considering the weight of his/her account. Therefore, when a customer pays in his/her money into the account, a receipt is issued to that customer showing amount paid, the date of the payment, the receipt number etc. Consequently, when a delivery is made, an invoice or a bill that shows the detail of goods will be issued or sent to the customer on the day of delivery

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The significance of this study is to develop a customer balanced sheet system of textile materials in terms of cost. The system will enhance the efficient and adequate balance sheet system minimization of various textile materials from the source (point of production) to the various depots/markets. The study will also give a vital recommendation on how to alleviate some of the problems associated with the method and their cost system, which is currently used.

Introduction

Customer order processing system is a system that really catered for the daily transaction between the organization and its customer. However, the previous, manual method adopted to take care of this transaction proved to be reliable, inefficient, tedious and cumbersome.
According to Andrew (1980) customer order processing system is a procedure and requirement pertaining to systems to which computers are most commonly applied. The object is to illustrate the variety of choice, which is possible with even the most routine business systems and to give insight into the type of questions which must be asked, if the facts relevant to designing a new system are to be elicited.
Probably more than two thirds of computers, installed in business or public administration organization have their applications, order processing that is, identification of the goods or services required by the customer or client.

RESEARCH DESIGN
The various design procedures required for a successful implementation of the proposed automated system is adequately discussed in this chapter.

3.2 SYSTEM ANALYSIS

Before the system analysis the researcher. Must conduct a feasibility study, which give him the clear picture of the problem in the present system and how to solve them. Having identified the problem at hand, the researchers have to undergo investigation in order to make sure that all the information needed are accurate and reliable.

3.3 SYSTEM DESIGN

The next step after system analysis is to design new system or application that is required to satisfy the organization. The researchers after preparing the design specification that include the output design, the input data needed and the general processing procedure on how it was suggested during the feasibility study.

CONCLUSION

With this system, we can keep record of daily business transaction conveniently without any stress or difficulty. Consequently, it can as well aid in decision-making and make the company have confidence in all the customer transaction because of this reliability, efficiently effectiveness and its durability. A company that has its information regarding its customer and services is a robust company, so we are looking forward to a stronger UNTL when this system is fully implemented.
