A windows based program written in C language controls the switching of 8 different devices, connected through PC's parallel port (LPT). The switching pulse is generated using software and associated hardware is used to use this pulse properly for switching ON any type of device just by pressing the number of device to be controlled, on keyboard. The same number is pressed once again for switching OFF the same device.
