This paper presents moving Vehicle detection and Tracking system. The Vehicle Tracking System is the system which emerges with the latest technologies of GPS.
A Vehicle Tracking System provides the members to track their vehicle that is owned by embers. The vehicle must have GPS tool which contains communication units- GPS receiver chip that is ounted on vehicles, which detects the vehicle (that is registered). The Vehicle Tracking System pecifies a previously-registered member and the vehicle owned by the registered member based upon a request of the registered member for providing positional information of a vehicle.
The Vehicle Tracking System executes a operation of positional information to the vehicle wned by the user; It retrieves an existence position of the vehicle on a map from a map database based upon positional information that is transmitted from the vehicle; It displays the existence position of the vehicle by superimposing on the map; and provides the various details of vehicle position with its speed data to the user.
This system provides with facility even on the desktop side that is used by the admin to insert the new route as per the requirements of the user. It is also provided to view all the vehicles within a particular area on the map.
This Vehicle Tracking System can be very useful to the companies that’s owns the fleet of vehicles who want to keep eye on their vehicles for the purpose as to make the maximum utilization of the resources.
