The synthesis of fine and specialty chemicals involving heterogeneous catalysts according to the type of reactions (eg, hydrogenation, oxidation, isomerization, etc.) is discussed for various raw materials derived from biomass (carbohydrates, lignans, phenols, flavonoids, tannins and stilbenes, and fatty acids).
The Performance and Specialty Materials (PSM) team focuses on "Aspects of Materials Science and Engineering" to improve the properties of materials for their intended application. We undertake the "marketing concept" of several specialty polymers, performance chemicals using advanced techniques of process chemistry and polymerization. Areas of interest include biopolymers, special polymers, highly active monomers and performance chemicals.
