This report is effort to present the aspects related Traffic Vigilance System as seen by us viz. our perspective and experience. This report is written with an aim to culminate and most importantly aimed at the different aspects with which the staff approach any problem and solved it with least amount of investment of time, money and resource. This report shall help all those who shall need an insight into company’s functioning and products manufactured/ fabricated/ assembled. It also helps one in knowing depth about company’s managerial affairs as well. This report is precise and short and is aimed at making it as pictorial as possible for better understanding of the concepts discussed.
Traffic Vigilance System is an application which is used to automate the registration of case when there is a violation in the Traffic Rules.This application is accessed by the Traffic Police at their respective Check Points and it helps them in registering the case against the traffic rule violators. This application access the remote database server through Internet web server to store the data which is controlled by the Admin and the Case details get added into the database. When the case is registered the Fine is automatically assigned to that case and the details are sent to the violator’s email Id already registered with the system.
This system is based on ASP.NET technology and have two sub-systems namely Admin and Traffic Police interacting with each other. This application is hosted on Internet web server through which Admin user will be able to maintain the details in database server like Traffic Police details, Spot Fine details and Booked Case details, etc., The admin is able to add, view and update the data of fines, traffic police, checkpoints, fine collections. On the other hand, Traffic Police access the web application at their check points for registering traffic violation cases and checking details of the stolen vehicles. Moreover, the system allows Traffic rules Violator to check fine pending against their driving license or vehicle number and pay fine online.
This application removes all the drawbacks of the older manual system of case registration for traffic violations.
