The objective of the application is to develop a location based (using Google Maps) smartphone application that will allow user’s smartphone (Android) to automatically switch between Mute, Vibrate and Ring Mode whenever the phone enters a specified/predefined location. There will be an audible tone/vibration alert whenever modes change. And this app will also alert the user through message; this message is delivered to the users who have made the call when the phone is in silent and vibrating mode. The need of the application is to help the users to automatically switch the phone from ring, or mute or vibrate mode at predetermined locations
Existing System here means the application that will perform the same task as our proposed system will do but the action perform by the Existing application is manual i.e. The Existing system change the phone mode but it does not perform the action automatically. So more time is required to change the mode .So there are some disadvantages of the existing System that gives rise to the new or proposed system
