The civil registration system in India dates back to the middle of the 19th century. In the independent India the Parliament enacted the law called Registration of Births and Deaths Act (RBD Act), 1969, which was enforced in most parts of the country in 1970. The Act provides a uniform law for compulsory registration of births and deaths across the country. However, keeping in view the diversity of the country, it allows State Governments to formulate rules for its implementation and appointment of various functionaries. The implementation of the law is the responsibility of the State Governments. One of the important aspects of the law is that it births and deaths are to be registered at the place of their occurrence that may not always be the place of residence of the parents/deceased. This provision has implications with regard to formulation of strategies for complete registration.

This website is created to reduce the paper work of hospital, instead of writing each and every entry in to registers this would be done online and data will be saved in database directly, and fetching the previous or old data would be easy. It has 2 type of users first is Admin (who has whole control over the website) and the second is normal user (employee of the organization, who can log onto the website for entering any birth or death record).
