We did 6 months industrial training from AG industries, Gurgaon. Where, we worked with Production, Tool room, and Quality departments. In Production department, we knew about Injection Molding Machine. We learnt how these machines works, their functions, parts name etc. I knew about molding defects, their causes and how to correct these defects. We did work on machine and learnt how to run the machine. In AG industry they used two type of raw material- Polypropylene and Acrylonitrile butadine styrene. They add 6% master black for giving proper black color. They add 20% glass fiber in luggage box to make it more hard. The parts which are defective, they cut them in grinder and mix with raw material. In Quality department, we learnt how to check the correctness of parts. We knew about rules and standardization of quality in this industry. With the help of vernier caliper and micrometer, we check the dimension of different parts. we also learnt visual inspection of different parts.
