I was training in the DMW at Patiala. There I worked in the department of light machine works and the department of engine rebuilding . there I was assigned a task to observe the work carefully and may ask questions regarding the job. I worked under the ssc and the junior engineer. They gave me new tasks daily and ask a report daily .in the rebuilding shop I worked on the engine on locomotive and the experience was very great see the dismantling and rebuilding of engine. I had been given a very challenging task that is to distinguish between the 2600 hp, 3100 hp, and 330hp locomotive engine. From which I have learned a lot about the engines and its detail.
